As I enter the weekend, my reshoot weekend for my senior film thesis, I have to reflect on the process as a whole.
It has been a week of review. I have spent many hours in the basement editing lab manually syncing audio and reviewing literally hours of footage. It is so hard to believe that there are only 12 scenes in this project. It is also, so strange to hear the frogs out chirping when only a moment ago we were freezing our butts off trying to film on the Kokosing River.

But we have long since returned the gear, and the team has more or less disbanded. I spent some time over the break communicating with my score artist to discus the music for the piece. Sabrina is brilliant, and I am truly excited– but none of it really FEELS real.

With job applications out, and less than 60 days remaining on campus, I just want to savor every minute of it. From the sunrise over the editing lab, to the sunset afterglow as watched from the editing lab– it all feels like a dream. I couldn’t be more grateful to be living it.
